Setting up your new scroll saw is fast and simple. Follow these steps for an optimal, vibration-free work environment.
Site Conditions & Installation
Placement: Install the machine on a sturdy, flat, and vibration-free surface that is big enough for safe operation.
Fastening: Fix the machine base using 3 M8 bolts (three holes) or by 2 pieces of a bolt (two drillings) to ensure stability.
Environment: The machine should be used in a dry location, freely of aggressive gases and damp, and away from mineral contaminants.
Initial Saw Blade Setup
Saw Blade Condition: Ensure you start with a sharp, straight saw blade. A wavy blade is useless and must be exchanged.
Stretch Saw Blade: Push the rapid clamping lever to the clamping position, then spin the saw blade control knob (clockwise direction) until the saw blade gives a bright clay/tone (a sign of proper tension).
Ease Saw Blade: Only with the machine switched off, turn the control knob H counter-clockwise by about 2-3 revolutions to ease the blade tension.
Switching On the Machine
